Sinuspinde ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang face-to-face at online classes sa lahat ng antas sa CALABARZON simula Enero 17 hanggang 29.
“This suspension includes all other school activities, whether physical or virtual (online), that involve school-based personnel, learners, and parents,” ayon sa DepEd.
Base sa Regional Memorandum No. 32 ng DepEd, itutuloy pa rin ang midyear break simula Enero 31 hanggang Pebrero 5.
“Schools Division Offices are encouraged to do necessary adjustments in the implementation of the curriculum after these suspension dates particularly when new directives are issued,” dagdag pa ng ahensya.
Ayon pa sa inilabas na pahayag ng ahensya, ang mga pribadong paaralan ay maaaring sumangguni sa mga magulang ng mga estudyante sa pagpapasya kaugnay ng pagsuspinde ng mga klase kapag mayroong mataas na panganib na dulot ng COVID-19 sa kanilang mga lugar.
Batay rin sa memorandum, “During the suspension of classes, all synchronous and asynchronous classes shall be put on hold while submission of academic requirements and conduct of other teaching-related activities must be moved to a later date. For late submission of requirements, accommodations must be afforded for those with valid reasons.”
