Police seize P4.5-M worth of ‘marijuana’ in Bacoor 

Two ‘high-value individuals’ were arrested by anti-narcotics operatives in Bacoor City, Cavite in a buy-bust operation that yielded P4.5 million worth of ‘marijuana.’

Authorities nabbed two alleged big-time drug traffickers who are carrying a little over P4.5 million worth of suspected marijuana in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City, Cavite last July 12.

Christian Kyle Dueñas and Rodolfo Bautista were collared at around 3:15 a.m. after they sold P10,000 worth of “marijuana” to an undercover police officer in Barangay Molino 1, the Cavite Police said in a report.

The suspects were allegedly in possession of about 38 kilos of suspected dried marijuana leaves sealed in plastic.  

Police were tracking the source of the illegal drugs peddled by the suspects, who were tagged as high-value individuals in the local drug trade.

The duo will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
