The number of new daily cases of COVID-19 in Cavite has been below 100 for the past three weeks, based on the data from the Department of Health.
The province tallied an average of 44 cases from November 12 to 18, a significant decrease from the 75 cases reported from October 29 to November 4, and 49 cases reported from November 5 to 11.
Likewise, the seven-day moving average of recoveries and fatalities in Cavite was 75 and 2, respectively.
Furthermore, according to the OCTA Research Group, Cavite has continued to see a decline in infections, with the province posting a negative 17 percent COVID-19 growth rate.
OCTA fellow Dr. Guido David said on Thursday that the province, along with Rizal, Laguna, Bulacan, Cebu, and Davao del Sur, are now considered to be in very low risk areas for the viral disease.

Moreover, the independent research team showed that the province’s healthcare utilization rate and ICU occupancy for COVID-19 are both in better condition.
