Kauna-unahang fire, rescue village sa Pilipinas inilunsad sa Bacoor

Pinasinayahan ng BFP, DILG, at mga opisyal sa lungsod ng Bacoor ang kauna-unahang fire and rescue village sa bansa Mayo 2.

Inilunsad ng Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), katuwang ang Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) at pamahalaang lungsod ng Bacoor, ang kauna-unahang fire and rescue village sa bansa noong Mayo 2.

Ayon sa BFP, layunin nitong mabigyan ng kaalaman ang mga kabataan ukol sa basic emergency response sa mga sakuna.

Binigyang-diin naman ni DILG Secretary Atty. Benjamin Abalos Jr. ang kahalagahan ng pagtuturo ng kasanayan sa mga kabataan na magkaroon ng kaalaman at maging handa sa pagrespunde sa mga sakuna.

“It features 16 stages of activities encapsulating the core roles and responsibilities of the BFP including Understanding Fire Safety in the kitchen,  Road and Water Safety, Home safety and Home Emergency Evaluation, Earthquake Simulation and performing the Stop, Drop and Roll, Ambulance Orientation, Identiying Hazards and Common Signs; Rapelling, Fire Extinguisher Usage Firetruck Ride and Operation, and Basic First Aid and CPR,” pahayag ng BFP.

“SFRV caters both Bacoor residents and non-Bacoor residents and accommodates full educational tours, use of facility for photo shoots, birthdays and other events,” dagdag pa ng ahensya.
