The tourism office urged people to participate and join in the campaign to save and protect the planet Earth.

Earth Hour is an annual movement started in 2007 conducted by the World-Wide Fund for Nature that aims to raise awareness and participation of people in the communities and businesses in fighting for climate change and global warming.

The said global campaign also encourages everyone to turn off their non-essential lights, switch off phones, and reconnect with nature as part of energy conservation efforts for the planet.
