Presyo ng bigas, posibleng tumaas sa buwan ng Oktubre

Nagbabala ang isang grupo sa agrikultura na maaaring magtaas ang presyo ng bigas kung hindi pa rin maipapamahagi ang ayuda para sa mga magsasaka.

Posibleng tumaas ang presyo ng bigas ng P3 hanggang P4 sa susunod na buwan bunsod ng pagkaantala ng pamamahagi ng gobyerno ng ayuda sa mga magsasaka, ayon sa Samahang Industriya ng Agrikultura (SINAG).

Ang nasabing ayuda ay nagkakahalagang P5,000 na gagamitin sana ng mga magsasaka sa kanilang pagtatanim.

“Four to five pesos ‘yun ang nakikita natin. From P38 to P43 per kilo. So, ganon ang mangyayari kung hindi naibigay ‘yung ayuda,” pahayag ni SINAG President Rosendo So sa isang panayam.

“Malaking effect iyan sa ating consumer lalo na kung makita natin ‘yung world market price ng bigas sa other countries, tumaas din,” paliwanag pa niya.
