14 Cavite LGUs earn seal for child-friendly governance

The City of Carmona, the youngest city in Cavite, has once again demonstrated that its government is 100 percent ready and maintains a child-friendly community.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) awarded the 2022 Seal of the Child-Friendly Local Governance (SCFLG) Audit recognition to the 14 local government units (LGUs) in Cavite on Thursday, April 4.

During the Regional Awarding Ceremony held at the Carmona Community Center, Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) Undersecretary Angelo M. Tapales said that 63 LGUs in Calabarzon Region have successfully passed the evaluation.

The following is a list of Cavite LGUs that were conferred with the 2022 SCFLG:

  • Carmona City
  • Bacoor City
  • Dasmariñas City
  • Imus City
  • Gen. Trias City
  • Tagaytay City
  • Silang
  • Alfonso
  • Magallanes
  • Maragondon
  • Gen. Mariano Alvarez
  • Noveleta
  • Mendez-Nuñez
  • Naic

The SCFLG Audit is an annual performance audit system that assesses the LGUs programs and efforts for the welfare of children and youth.
