Voter registration resumed on Monday in Cavite, Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, and Rizal as these so-called NCR Plus areas transition to less stringent community quarantine.
In a May 14 advisory, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) reminded registrants to sign up at the Offices of the Election Officer (OEO) from Mondays to Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on the disinfection day prescribed by the local government.
The poll body added residents may also enlist in satellite registration sites on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For appointments, those who will be registering may either fill up a form via irehistro website or through walk-ins at the nearest Comelec office.
They are also advised to bring a valid identification card with photo and address, as well as to wear a face mask and face shield and to always observe physical distancing.
As of May 6, there are already around 2.8 million new voter applicants with about 1.6 million of them classified as first-time registrants, according to Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez.
To recall, voter registration was suspended on March 29 at the time of the reimposition of enhanced community quarantine amid a record surge in COVID-19 cases.
Cavite and other NCR Plus areas shifted to general community quarantine with heightened restrictions on May 15, after more than a month of being placed under a stricter lockdown status.
