The Regina Coeli Choir from Noveleta, Cavite was applauded by the Spanish communities for their rendition of well-liked religious hymns at the Parroquia de la San Pedro Nolasco and Parròquia Internacional la Mare de Déu de Betlem.

The said group headed by their choir director Mr. Renalie Aquino showcased their versatility by having Filipino, Spanish, and other traditional songs in their repertoire.

They sang their first song “Receive the Power,” which is the theme song for World Youth Day as a prelude to other inspirational and religious songs which elicited emotional reactions from those present.

Consul General Maria Theresa S.M. Lazaro thanked the parish priest of Parroquia Belem, Father Adilson Tolentino for allowing the choir to perform at his parish.

“I hope that through their voices, the Regina Coeli Choir allowed you to remember the beauty and wonders of our motherland,” Lazaro said as she commended the choir for using their God-given talents to share their faith through their performances.

The group ended the program with a lively rendition of ‘Piliin Mo ang Pilipinas’ to promote and invite the international communities to the country.
