Sangguniang Panlalawigan members issued Provincial Ordinance no. 341-2022 prohibiting unvaccinated individuals to go out of their residences except for the procurement of essential goods beginning January 13.

Meanwhile, individual outdoor exercise is allowed within the area of their residence.

The ordinance also stated that they are not allowed in indoor and outdoor dining in restaurants and other food establishments.

Unvaccinated individuals are also prohibited from leisure or social trips to malls, event venues, sports and country clubs and in similar facilities.

Moreover, they are not allowed to have domestic travels via public transportations by land, air, and sea except for the procurement of essential goods. If they are to go out for medical purposes, they are subject to the production of proof to justify the travel.

Employees are also required to undergo an RT-PCR test every two weeks at their personal expense and present a COVID-19 negative result prior to being admitted to their onsite work. If the RT-PCR test is not available, Rapid Antigen Test may be utilized.

Residents who violate the provisions may be penalized by paying a fine of not more than P5,000.

This ordinance may be lifted once the IATF decided that the province is under Alert Level 2 or lower. Cavite is still under Alert Level 3 until the end of the month.
