Libre ang toll fee simula Hulyo 1 hanggang 30 sa Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway, alinsunod sa inaprubahan ng Toll Regulatory Board (TRB).

“The TRB unanimously approved the proposal by the Philippine Reclamation Authority – Grantee of the expressway project – with the agreement and consent of its Joint Venture Partner/Investor Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC). – a unit of the Metro Pacific Tollways Corp,” ayon sa TRB.
Ito’y matapos na sabihin ni Pang. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang proposed 30-day toll holiday sa kaniyang talumpati sa binuksang Cavitex – C5 Link, Segment 2 (R1 Expressway to Sucat Road, Paranaque).
“The Board Resolution calls for a ‘Temporary Cessation of Toll Collection Activities (both RFID and Cash) in all Segments of the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway Project for a period of thirty (30) calendar days starting from 01 July 2024, 12:01a.m., subject to two (2) months extension of the respective Concession Periods of the Segments of the MCTEP,'” pahayag ng TRB.
