Pageant enthusiasts are excited and everyone has their own bet for this year’s Miss World Philippines coronation night which will be held on July 25.

Forty five Filipina beauties will compete for the coveted title in the hopes of representing the Philippines in the international stage.

Among those candidates are three Caviteñas who were given the chance to participate in this prestigious event and eventually bring home the Miss World crown.

Ganiel Krishnan

Ganiel Krishnan, 26, is representing the historical town of Kawit. She graduated with a degree in Mass Communication at the Far Eastern University and also became a courtside reporter of her alma mater in the UAAP league.

Aside from being an entertainment journalist and a Star Patroller of ABS-CBN’s flagship newscast “TV Patrol,” Krishnan is also an active volunteer member of the local government and the founder of ‘People I Met’, a platform where she features stories of ordinary yet incredible people.

The half-Indian beauty is also no stranger to pageantry having won the Mutya ng Pilipinas in 2016. She has also previously represented the Philippines in the Miss Asia Pacific International in the same year, where she placed second runner-up.

Mary Rose Guiral

Mary Rose Guiral, or MR as her friends fondly call her, is a 20-year-old freelance model from the municipality of Naic. She is a second-year college student at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Alfonso campus.

Even though she is still studying, Guiral is an academic tutor for special children. Being the breadwinner of the family, she has also been venturing into online selling as she tries to make both ends meet.

Guiral is also no stranger to pageantry although Miss World Philippines is her first national competition.

Donna Mari Balaoro

Donna Mari Balaoro, 28, is the Trece Martires City’s representative in the upcoming pageant. She holds a degree in International and Tourism Management from the Lyceum of the Philippines University.

Following her track, she became a flight attendant in Philippines Air Asia and presently a personality development trainer since 2018.

In 2018, Balaoro became the Philippines’ bet for the Miss Lumiere International World in Johor, Malaysia where she finished first runner-up.
