LGU gives token of appreciation to ‘Dasmarineñong Disiplinado’ individuals

The City Government of Dasmariñas has given away cash gifts and Certificates of Appreciation as tokens to various “Dasmarineñong Disiplinado” individuals who showed courage and honesty towards their city and fellowmen.

The City Government of Dasmariñas has given away cash gifts and Certificates of Appreciation as tokens to various “Dasmarineñong Disiplinado” individuals who showed courage and honesty towards their city and fellowmen.

The said program was spearheaded by Mayor Jenny Barzaga last July 22, 2021 in her office. 

The awardees were the following:

  • Ms. Mary Jane Alfeche is a teacher who found a wallet containing more than P20,000 and a ring. She returned it to the Salitran 3 Barangay Outpost where the rightful owner found it.
  • Mr. Elvis Collantes is a city traffic enforcer who returned a wallet at the City Hall containing P1,000 in cash, and returned it to the rightful owner.

  • Mr. Gilbert Pencios and Mr. Antonio Salvador are two city garbage compactors who bravely went after and helped catch a robber at 4:30am while on duty. The robber was then handed over to the Barangay Officials who responded to the incident. 
  • Mr. Emiliano Mallari attended an emergency situation at the Robinson’s vaccination site to save a government employee’s life.

“Let this be an example to everyone that good deeds are recognized no matter how long it happened or how small the gesture was,” said Mayor Barzaga in her Facebook post. 

She also expressed her gratitude to these individuals who lead by example. She said that the LGU of Dasmarinas City will strive to continue to work harder to achieve a safer and more peaceful city.
