OVP’s Swab Cab rolls out in Imus City

The mobile antigen testing program initiative of the Office of the Vice President started in Imus City on April 24.

The Swab Cab project of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) began rolling out in the communities of Imus City on Saturday.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi shared photos of the said mobile antigen testing program conducted in Barangay Medicion 2-C, Bayang Luma 4 and Anabu 2-F.

“Sa pamamagitan ng Swab Cab, mas mapapalawig natin ang ating kapasidad na makapag-test ng ating kababayan para sa COVID-19,” Maliksi said.

“Maraming salamat po, VP Leni Robredo sa pag-agapay sa aming lungsod,” he added.

The Imus local government unit, on the other hand, also started their home visit vaccination program last April 21.

This initiative aims to vaccinate everyone in the priority group including those Imuseños who have mobility problems.

As of April 20, 11,846 individuals in the city have been vaccinated against the viral respiratory disease.
