From hundreds of projects nationwide, SK San Mateo qualified to compete at the event’s project expo and made it to the grand finals as they presented their innovative projects in each category last August 11.

Their Team 4P’s (Pangkalinisan, Pangongolekta, Pagtatanim at Pangkain) won a special citation award in the Environment Category.

Moreover, their KKK (Kabataan, Kita, at Kabuhayan) project that aims to assist all the unemployed youth to have a definite source of income this pandemic also won an award in the Economic Empowerment Category.

Meanwhile, in the Active Citizenship and Governance Category, their Project ATBP (Aktibong Tugon sa Bagong Pamamahala) also made a spot.

Lalo pa noong three out of four na entries [namin] yung pumasok sa grand finals. Nakaka-proud din kasi we are not just representing Dasmariñas but the whole Province of Cavite,” SK Chairman Isais Villanueva said in an interview with The Cavite Rising.

Villanueva also proudly said that among all the projects nationwide, SK San Mateo has the most number of entries that qualified in the grand finals.

Aside from certificates, they will receive P15,000 cash from PYDN.
