Over 31,000 Caviteños fully vaccinated vs. COVID-19 so far

A total of 31,318 Caviteños have so far received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccines since the government started to rollout the vaccination program in March.

A total of 31,318 Caviteños are fully-protected against COVID-19, having received their two vaccine doses as of Tuesday, May 25. 

Of this figure, 8,985 are frontline health workers, 8,818 are senior citizens, and 13,515 are persons with comorbidities, according to the data from the Department of Health – Center for Health Development CALABARZON.

Local government units in the province were able to administer 142,629 jabs as of writing. 

Of the total, 78 percent or 111,311 individuals have already been inoculated with their first dose. 

Cavite has 63,984 total COVID-19 cases of whom 60,904 have recovered, 611 died, while 2, 469 remain active as of Monday. 

The province is under general community quarantine with heightened restrictions until May 31.
