Familiar faces in the local art scene have made this possible.

Christian Cresencio and his wife Tanya Jizelle Pastor from the Colorant Group of Artist have painted this for weeks.

The whole mural is entitled “Sinag ng Kasarinlan.” This includes the Pandayan, Galleon Trade, Battle of Binakayam, Patron Saint of Santa Maria Magdalena, irasan, and Kawit’s local heroes.

Cresencio also shared in his Facebook account the process of making the Galleon Trade art.

Tourists are required to present their vaccination cards before being allowed entry to the historical site in observance of the health guidelines.
