Newly-elected Imus City Mayor Alex Advincula signed his first executive order, which aims to improve transparency and public accountability in the city administration.

According to Advincula, this policy will be one of the first steps in strengthening government services and the responsibilities of all city officials and employees.

Under the new EO, all public documents of the city government of Imus will be publicly available and can be requested from the appropriate departments.

This also mandates all department heads to have electronic copies of all documents on hand and to submit them to the city information office.

The City Information Office will feature these records, including important and urgent documents, on its official online platforms.
