The LGU demonstrated the drive-thru inoculation’s operation process in the parking lot of the said mall.

This effort in fighting COVID-19 will be able to provide a more convenient, faster, and safer way for Imus residents as they can be vaccinated inside their vehicles.

Those who will be vaccinated will undergo online registration, counseling, declaration of consent and final screening all in one day.

When this initiative passes the standards of the IATF, it will be an addition to the methods of vaccination within the city.

For residents who do not have vehicles, the city already has five fixed sites where they can go for vaccination. The LGU will also conduct a house-to-house vaccination and it also plans to expand their remote vaccination sites for far areas.

Last week, 285 doses of Sinovac and 80 doses of Astrazeneca from the Department of Health were initially given to the LGU. More than 100 health workers have already been vaccinated at the Ospital ng Imus.
