The government’s pandemic task force has kept Cavite and several other areas under the most lenient COVID-19 Alert Level 1 unti mid-April.
Alert Level 1 will also be imposed in Metro Manila and the following areas from April 1-15:
Cordillera Administrative Region
• Abra, Apayao, Baguio City and Kalinga
Region I
• Dagupan City, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan
Region II
• Batanes, Cagayan, City of Santiago, Isabela and Quirino
Region III
• Angeles City, Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Olongapo City, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales
Region IV-A
• Batangas, Laguna, Lucena City, and Rizal
Region IV-B
• Marinduque, Puerto Princesa City, Oriental Mindoro, and Romblon
Region V
• Albay, Naga City and Catanduanes
Region VI
• Aklan, Capiz, Bacolod City, Guimaras, and Iloilo City
Region VII
• Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and Siquijor
Region VIII
• Biliran, Ormoc City, and Tacloban City
Region IX
• Zamboanga City
Region X
• Bukidnon, Cagayan De Oro City, Camiguin, and Iligan City
Region XI
• Davao City
Region XIII
• Butuan City, Surigao City, and Surigao Del Sur.
Under the said alert level, businesses, government agencies, and public transportation are allowed to operate at its full capacity.
Also allowed under Alert Level 1 are limited face-to-face classes as well as in-person graduation and recognition ceremonies.

Amid decreasing COVID-19 infections, Cavite and Metro Manila have been placed under Alert Level 1 since March 1.

Cavite has 109 active cases of the viral respiratory illness as of posting.
