Cavite towns hailed most competitive LGUs in PH

Some towns in Cavite were named the most competitive local government units (LGUs) in this year’s index, which tracks the competitiveness of the cities and municipalities in the Philippines.

Some towns in Cavite were named the most competitive local government units (LGUs) in this year’s index, which tracks the competitiveness of the cities and municipalities in the Philippines.

During the 9th Regional Competitive Summit on December 14, Dasmariñas City emerged as the Top 4 most competitive component city in the country.

This is after the city ranked first in the economic dynamism category and fifth in government efficiency.

Along with Dasmariñas, the city of Imus ranked eighth in the overall ranking under the same tier.

On the other hand, Carmona ranked fifth among Class 1 to 2 municipalities, and the town also gained the Top 3 spot in the economic dynamism category and Top 10 in government efficiency.

Moreover, the municipality of Silang got the 10th place for the same group overall ranking.

Meanwhile, the city of Trece Martires was awarded as one of the most improved component cities and placed third in the said recognition.

Government Efficiency:

•Municipality of Magallanes (Top 10 – Class 3 to 4 Municipalities)
