Residents of Dasmarinas in Cavite can now avail of free confirmatory RT-PCR tests, the city government announced on Wednesday.

“Magandang Balita! Ang inyong RT-PCR (test) ay libre na (para) sa lahat ng Active Philhealth members,” Pagamutan ng Dasmarinas – Department of Family Medicine said on their Facebook post.
Meanwhile, non-Philhealth users have to pay P1,850 if they wish to have the said test.
“Ang swab ay ipinapadala sa City of Dasmarinas Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory. Results within 24 hours,” they added.
This is an initiative of the local government of Dasmarinas to curb and monitor the COVID-19 spike in the city.
Applicants may go to Pagamutan ng Dasmarinas Open Space (near main entrance), Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. only.
The agency also said that there’s no appointment needed. They just have to bring the following:
- RT-PCR Test request from a Physician
- Philhealth ID
- Valid ID
- Ballpen
They also advised everyone to weak facemasks and observe minimal health protocols.
Currently, the province of Cavite is under Alert Level 3 due to the surge of coronavirus infections. Dasmarinas City imposes curfew and restrictions.
