DOH CALABARZON: 2.8M Cavitenos now fully vaccinated against COVID-19

A total of 2,796,943 individuals have been fully inoculated against COVID-19 in Cavite, the regional health department announced on Thursday.

This means that 79 percent of the province’s target population of 3,546,094 already had their second doses as of April 6.

For the breakdown, 97,153 are frontline health workers, 259,953 are senior citizens, 293,829 are people with comorbidities, 1,037,253 are economic frontliners, 426,330 are indigent people, 275,458 are people from the rest of the adult population, and 471,896 are people from the pediatric population.

Meanwhile, 629,119 individuals have already received their booster shots, while 2,930,131 individuals have yet to receive at least one dose.

As of April 4, the Philippines had 66,230,305 adult Filipinos who already had finished their COVID-19 vaccine, accounting for at least 73% of the country’s target coverage.
