Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, four subdivisions in Gen. Trias City, Cavite have been subjected to “special concern lockdown.”
The city government said the following areas would be placed under an 11-day lockdown:
From August 10 to 20, 2021
- Tierra Solana Subdivision (Phase 2) in Barangay Buenavista III
- Holiday Homes Subdivision in Barangay Biclatan
From August 11 to 21, 2021
- Mayflower County in Barangay Buenavista I
- Natania Homes in Barangay Pasong Kawayan II
Residents of the aforementioned subdivisions are encouraged to stay at home and follow the necessary health protocols.

Only Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APOR) and residents aged 18 to 65 years old will be allowed to go outside their houses for essential work and services.
Quarantine Control Points in the entryways of the areas have been set up by the Philippine National Police to strictly implement the minimum public health standards.
Total liquor ban and 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM curfew hours will be also imposed during the lockdown period.
As of August 9, Gen. Trias City has a total of 7,769 COVID-19 cases, 529 are active, 7,099 are recovered and 141 have succumbed.
Meanwhile, a total of 80,063 vaccines were administered in the city, 55,501 of this number were first doses and 24,562 were second doses.
