“One example of a project that was left hanging is the LRT-1 Cavite Extension, which was delayed for 19 years with no progress ever seen until June 2016,” ani Tugade sa isang Facebook post.
“From being one of the pioneers in establishing railroad networks in Asia, ironically, we are [now] trailing behind. From more than a thousand-kilometer railroad network in the 1970’s, our country’s operational railway length drastically shrunk to only 77 kilometers in 2016,” aniya.
“The LRT-1 Cavite Extension can accommodate 500,000 to 800,000 passengers per day.” paliwanag ni Tugade.
