Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Guilermo Eleazar paid a command visit to the Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) at Camp Brig. Gen. Pantaleon Garcia in Imus City, November 4 to laud the provincial police for their efforts in upholding the PNP’s policies.
Eleazar was welcomed by Cavite Provincial Director PCOL Marlon Santos, along with city Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi and some police personnel.
During his speech, Eleazar mentioned that this was his last official visit as the 26th PNP chief, as he is set to retire on November 13.
The chief of police lauded the provincial police for their efforts in upholding the PNP’s policies, and he thanked the local government and other civic groups for their support of the armed national police force.
Furthermore, he stressed the significance of his Intensified Cleanliness Policy Program, which he said is necessary for an effective PNP organization and policing system.
“Ito ngayon ay nagdadagdag ng kredibilidad, integridad, at dignidad sa ating mga pulis na kailangang-kailangan natin para makita ang disiplina na pwedeng panggalingan ng tiwala, kumpyansa at respeto ng ating mga kababayan,” Eleazar said.
Meanwhile, the country’s top cop also led the conferment of awards to outstanding PNP personnel of the Cavite PPO.
Earlier before the said event, Eleazar conducted inspections at Kawit and Tanza Municipal Police Stations, and made a courtesy call with Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla at the provincial capitol.
