The senator said that the training and certification will help to improve the quality of TVL trainings, and it will also boost the employability of senior high school students.

On the other hand, the Department of Education (DepEd) received P50 million for training and certification of the TVL senior high school teachers.

Moreover, Gathcalian is also lobbying that there be a budget for the free assessment and certification of TVL senior high school students.
