GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite — Two new bridges in Bagong Kalsada, Barangay Pasong Kawayan II are now open to vehicular traffic following its inauguration on February 17.
Mayor Antonio Ferrer and Cavite 6th District Rep. Luis Ferrer IV led the ceremonial opening of the new bridges which are expected to ease travel on roads leading to the city proper.
Also present were Vice Mayor Morit Sison and the city councilors who drove along the stretch of the reconstructed two-lane concrete road.
For the safety of residents and motorists, the local government unit (LGU) installed a total of 100 solar-powered steel posts in the area.
The LGU also opened a multipurpose covered court in Heneral Uno Subdivision and another in Castillon Homes in the same village on February 20 and on February 26, respectively
