“Sa pag-iikot natin sa mga barangay, may dala na rin kaming mga gamot para sa mga nagme-maintainance at bitamina para sa mga bata at matatanda, which is binibigay sa kanila nang libre,” she said, adding that the program also includes free consultation, medical certificates and request of laboratory tests for Kawiteños.

Even with the mobile healthcare program, Pulido said she will also remain stationed inside the municipal hall to deliver health services for those who need second phase consultation.

The program also provides free medicines, maintenance drugs, and vitamins for all ages.

The program was sponsored by Mayor Angelo Emilio Aguinaldo and ABC President Alvin Bunag, with the participation barangay chairpersons in Kawit.

“Malaking katipiran din ito sa mga kababayan natin dahil lahat ay free at wala na silang intindihin maliban sa requirements tulad ng medical record na kailangan nilang ipasa para mabigyan sila ng tamang prescription,” the health officer said.

Aside from mobile health services, Pulido said she also provides free online consultation and issuing of prescription as part of the “Doktor sa Barangay” program.

“Umaabot na sa 1,700 ang mga napagsisilbihan ng programa through online, dahil na rin siguro natatakot lumabas ngayon at magpunta sa hospital para magpa-check-up,” she added, saying that she contacts her patients through Facebook Messenger every day until 8 p.m.
