A singer and a social media personality hailing from Bacoor City, Ryssi Avila made Caviteños proud as she emerged as the first runner-up in a national reality TV singing competition.

Ryssi Avila, a pride of Bacoor City, expressed her gratitude to Caviteños for supporting her throughout her “Idol Philippines” journey.

Maraming maraming salamat po sa pagtulong nila sa akin,” Avila told The Cavite Rising in an exclusive interview.

While she admittedly encountered numerous challenges during the contest, Avila said she is still thankful for her fans who helped her survive until she reached the show’s finale.

Pero overall, worth it lahat ng sacrifices,” she added.

Prior to joining the competition, Avila has been making covers of songs on her Youtube channel.

Now a certified idol of many, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter is hoping her showbiz career will soon flourish in the future.
