IMUS CITY, Cavite – Some 57 personnel of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Imus City has already received their first doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

This after the local government in Cavite launched its mobile vaccine clinic on Wednesday, March 24.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi shared photos of the customized air-conditioned bus which is being used as the mobile clinic for the remote areas within the city.

This initiative is part of the Imus City’s #BidaAngMayBakuna campaign in partnership with the UBE Express and the Philippine Red Cross.

Recently, the LGU has also started its fixed sites inoculation rollout and the country’s first ever drive-thru vaccination for the frontliners.

As of March 22, there were 1,670 vaccines served for the priority personnel in Imus City according to their vaccination report.
