The local government of Alfonso has signed a partnership agreement with the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) for its community mortgage program to assist its citizens to purchase and develop a tract of land under the concept of community ownership.
In a Facebook post, Mayor Randy Salamat shared photos of the floor plans of the rent-to-own one-storey houses at RS Ville in Barangay Taywanak-Ibaba that residents can avail.
Alfonseños can choose between a 36-sq.m. house unit or a 40-square house unit with a monthly amortization of P2,800 and P3,100 respectively, which will be payable in a span of 25 years.
Salamat assured that only legitimate residents of Alfonso will be able to avail the said housing project.
