KAWIT, Cavite — A building still under construction at Brgy. Pulvorista in Kawit, Cavite caught fire on Friday morning.

Fire broke out at an unfinished building of a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) hub around 10:00 a.m.

According to local firefighters, the fire reached the second alarm and was extinguished around 11:00 a.m.

No one has been reported hurt in the incident. It is still unclear what caused the blaze as of posting time.

The 20-hectare online gaming complex, formerly Island Cove resort, is expected to open soon. It sits just at the front of a residential area that was also affected by a recent fire.
