The municipality’s health care workers (HCWs), who are part of the priority sectors identified and approved by the national COVID-19 task force, will receive the first batch of vaccines, nurse Lalaine Kupahu said in an interview.

Despite their stated target of vaccinating 100 HCWs per day, Kupahu said their department would attempt to utilize all of the first batch vaccines in a single vaccination rollout.

In his earlier Facebook post, Mayor Angelo Emilio Aguinaldo said the LGU would start vaccinating HCWs tomorrow and asked Kawiteños to continue supporting the #TaasManggasInitiative.

Aguinaldo also assured his fellow townsmen of the continuous coordination of the LGU with the national government and pharmaceutical companies to secure additional vaccines for the municipality
