Over 500,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered in Cavite

The province of Cavite has already administered a total of 501,031 vaccine doses against COVID-19 as of July 13, according to the latest data of the Provincial Information and Communication Affairs (PICAD).

The province of Cavite has already administered a total of 501,031 vaccine doses against COVID-19 as of July 13, according to the latest data of the Provincial Information and Communication Affairs (PICAD).

Of this number, 401,198 jabs were first doses, while 99,833 were second doses.

Among those figures, 79,045 were administered to frontline health workers, 174,203 to senior citizens, 155,106 to persons with comorbidities, 87,031 to economic frontliners and 5,646 to indigent persons.

As of the same date, Cavite has a total of 75,504 COVID-19 cases, 1,713 of which are active, 73,069 recovered, and 722 have succumbed to the respiratory illness.

The province was previously placed under general community quarantine ‘with heightened restrictions’ until July 15.
