“The BOC-NAIA, under the supervision of the Port’s Auction and Cargo Disposal Division (ACDD), destroyed the goods using the Thermal Decomposer (Pyrolysis) Facility of the Integrated Waste Management Inc. (IWMI),” ayon sa BOC-NAIA.

Sinira ng BOC-NAIA ang mga naturang produkto upang maprotektahan ang publiko sa pagkonsumo ng mga ito.

“District Collector Carmelita Talusan said that aside from preventing the entry of prohibited goods, the destruction of unsafe and expired goods was also vital to decongest customs warehouses to provide ample space for arriving goods,” ani Talusan sa isang panayam ng ahensya.

“The BOC-Port of NAIA, under the leadership of District Collector Talusan, supports the directives of Commissioner Yogi Felimon  Ruiz to ensure vigilance in the entry of dangerous drugs, anti-social goods, and hazardous substances aligned with the marching orders of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr,” pahayag ng BOC-NAIA.
