Cavite adjusts curfew hours to 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. under MECQ

Cavite, which remains under the second most stringent quarantine level, further eases curfew hours from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

CAVITE — The curfew hours in the province have been set to 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. beginning Monday, May 3. 

Governor Jonvic Remulla confirmed this in a Facebook post on Tuesday, a day after Board Member Rainier Ambion announced the issuance of Provincial Ordinance No. 268 – 2020 that amended the previous curfew hours.

During the implementation of the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in April, curfew hours in the province were initially from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. but were later on shortened from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

This update in curfew hours is to align with that of other areas placed under MECQ since April 12 like Metro Manila. 

The MECQ period in Cavite and other areas under the ‘NCR Plus’ bubble has been extended until May 14. (READ: Cavite stays under MECQ until May 14)
