Cavite’s Victoria Vincent crowned Miss Universe PH Charity 2021

Miss Cavite is the new Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Charity!

Victoria Velasquez Vincent of the Cavite province was named this year’s Miss Universe Philippines Charity on Thursday during the coronation night in Bohol.

This 26-year-old Caviteña is an architect and heritage conservationist who was born in New Zealand. Vincent’s father is an Irish man and her mother is a Filipino from Bacoor City.

Prior to the event, Vincent earned the top spot in the beauty pageant’s interview challenge, which placed her among the outstanding delegates.

Meanwhile, as she entered the Top 5, Vincent was asked about the most memorable part of her Miss Universe journey.

She answered, “The people that I have met and the stories I have heard especially during the pandemic [showed me that] people have risen to overcome everything that they’ve gone through.”

“I’ve been incredibly privileged and I haven’t had to go through that many issues in my life but meeting so many people who have had so many battles, hearing their stories and hearing how they overcame them, that’s what inspires me.

“That’s what inspires me to continue to help Filipinos in the way that I know how, which is through my advocacy, through architecture and heritage conservation,” she ended.

Cebu City’s bet Beatrice Luigi Gomez won the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 title while Katrina Dimaranan of Taguig City was hailed as Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2021.

Maureen Wroblewitz of Pangasinan and Steffi Rose Aberasturi of Cebu province finished first and second runners-up, respectively.
