DOH, suportado ang 30 KPH speed limit sa mga lungsod para iwas aksidente
Suportado ng DOH ang pagpapatupad ng 30 kph speed limit sa mga urban road upang mabawasan ang aksidente sa kalsada, na pangunahing sanhi ng pagkamatay ng mga kabataang Pilipino. Binanggit ni Secretary Teodoro Herbosa na epektibo ito sa ibang bansa at sa Commonwealth Avenue, at iginiit na 70% ng aksidente ay sangkot ang motorsiklo. Ang aksidente sa kalsada ay ikalima na sa pangunahing sanhi ng kamatayan sa Pilipinas.

Kinumpirma ng DOH na ang Pilipinas ang may pinakamabilis na pagtaas ng kaso ng HIV sa mundo, na may 57 bagong kaso araw-araw, karamihan ay mga kabataan.
